Dr Haider Najjar

Haider trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at Monash Medical Centre, gaining his Fellowship and receiving the Young Scientists Award from the International Menopause Society in Berlin, Germany, for his research in Premature Menopause.

He then completed a formal fellowship in Gynaecology Minimally Invasive Surgery. During this time, he was responsible for organising, and teaching at, registrar training workshops in laparoscopic surgery. For this work, he was awarded the Travelling Fellowship by the Australian Gynaecology Endoscopic Society, giving him the opportunity to train in laparoscopic and robotic surgery in the US.

Haider is also an active member of the Australian Gynaecology Endoscopic Society, taking part in conferences and workshops in Australia and internationally.
